Embedding Risk Management

I am a Risk Professional. It fascinates me to see the challenges and use various kinds of data and information to understand where to act (first) – and create real opportunities for the business. A specific focus to effective and efficient risk prevention and -mitigation solutions.

Looking back, we were often able to react fast, broaden the scope of business we can offer to customers and make the most out of limited resources.

Risk Management and Risk Mitigation are topics where ‘quick wins’ are not always easy to show. We are here to prevent – and work towards that ‘nothing unexpected happens’. For my daily work I get inspired by risk professionals and their experience around the world.

To give something back I like to share some of the success stories in a mini-series. It might inspire somebody and if not, I had the pleasure to reflect, write them and think what I could do better. I keep information generic and use already publicly available information.
